Manda’s Foundation is a young rising association which positively impacts the lives of orphans, poor and abandoned children in our community. The idea of Manda’s Foundation is an initiative of the foundation’s president. It was launched in December 2018 but started operating without headquarters since January 2016. The foundation brought together 8 registered youths and over 30 volunteers from across all regions of Cameroon. Over the past years, about 1000 youths and teenagers have benefited from the initiative of this foundation.
Manda’s Foundation has led people to dedicate themselves through volunteering and working with different orphanages, initiatives and projects where most of the children are able to connect, interact, develop and take the lead through civic education. In addition, the foundation has collaborated with teams of experienced civic leaders in order to make sure these children benefit from social services like medical care and education. Youths who connect with Manda’s Foundation benefit from leadership trainings and workshop programs from different Leadership and Youth Conferences organized by other civic leaders. Together, we work towards transforming our communities in our different leadership tracks, embracing the virtues of servant leadership. In line with this, Manda’s Foundation started a movement with the slogan “Helping Lives Bloom” which aims to orient youths in their career choice, identifying and exploiting their skills and talents.
At Manda’s Foundation, we interact with people of different genders, religious and socio-cultural backgrounds and perspectives. Therefore, we use different strategies to navigate different situations.
